Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Application Security Engineer will partner with development teams to drive vulnerability remediation, build AI-powered workflows, and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Build, extend, and operate AI-powered agents and workflows to automate vulnerability remediation tasks
• Drive vulnerabilities to closure by collaborating directly with development teams and acting as a security champion
• Triage findings from security scanners and integrate security validation into developer workflows

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience building AI agents or automated pipelines
• Working knowledge of software vulnerability classes and remediation practices
• Understanding of the software development process and security integration
• Experience with SAST/SCA platforms at an engineering team level
• Familiarity with application security frameworks such as OWASP Top 10 and NIST
