Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Senior Application Security Engineer to work remotely, who will actively hunt for and close security vulnerabilities in the Counterpart Assistant platform, harden systems, and mentor engineering teams to enhance security practices.

Key responsibilities

• Actively hunt for and remediate security vulnerabilities across the core product
• Harden systems and establish robust security monitoring for services and endpoints
• Mentor engineers on secure coding practices and conduct security training

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with 4+ years in application security, vulnerability research, and penetration testing
• Experience in identifying vulnerabilities using custom tools and AI-driven methodologies
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages across the software stack
• Demonstrated ability to balance security needs with operational requirements
• Experience mentoring engineers in security best practices
