Senior Application Security Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Application Security Engineer, this remote position will manage penetration testing of core systems and AI applications, develop AI-assisted security tools, and conduct secure code reviews to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct manual penetration tests and build AI-assisted tooling to enhance testing coverage
- Define and implement testing strategies for AI applications and triage findings from SAST tools
- Perform secure code reviews across web applications, APIs, and AWS infrastructure
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in application security, offensive security, or product security
- Hands-on experience with pentesting and code reviews for web applications, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- Understanding of AI/LLM attack surfaces and vulnerabilities characteristic of AI-generated code
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Ruby, Python, TypeScript, or Go
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree, or equivalent industry experience
