Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Application Security Engineer will focus on implementing and maintaining the application security program across various systems, performing security reviews, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure secure product design and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on and participate in the design of secure products and architectures
• Conduct architecture security reviews, security-focused code reviews, and security testing
• Monitor software usage and perform forensics to ensure compliance with security standards

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant Information Security and/or Software Engineering experience
• Familiarity with AI/LLM-specific security risks and experience securing AI-powered application features
• Knowledge of secure application programming and coding lifecycles
• Solid understanding of security principles, architectures, tools, and processes
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Security, or relevant industry certification
