Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, building, and maintenance of security systems and infrastructure
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate security and privacy controls into the company's planning and development process
• Build and maintain security alerting infrastructure and create self-service documentation

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of related work experience
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, and Rust
• Prior experience securing large-scale web applications and/or APIs
• Ability to understand and communicate concepts around threat modeling and risk management
• Working knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks and experience with cloud providers
