Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with product, platform, and security engineering leadership to improve security development lifecycle investments
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and best practice documentation
• Perform penetration testing, code reviews, and evaluate and respond to vulnerability disclosures

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in implementing security best practices in architecture and code
• 3+ years of experience in driving engineering remediations for externally identified threats and vulnerabilities
• 3+ years of experience in identifying and remedying security gaps in authentication, authorization, network segmentation, encryption, etc
• Understanding of regulatory standards such as PCI DSS and SOX
• Full-stack knowledge of IT infrastructure, AWS services, and cloud security controls
