Senior Application Support Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a proactive Senior Application Support Engineer in a full-time capacity, the role focuses on providing advanced support for enterprise applications, data workflows, and compliance-related systems, with responsibilities including L2/L3 support for AML and Sanctions applications, team leadership, and SQL Server maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 support for business-critical applications related to AML and Sanctions monitoring
- Take ownership of supported applications and act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and enhancements
- Lead the team in development and support work while collaborating with offshore teams to ensure project alignment
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in application support or related technical roles
- Strong experience with SQL Server, SQL scripting, C-Link, and IBM DataStage
- Proficiency in Managed File Transfer (MFT) tools and AML/Sanctions systems
- Basic understanding of DBA tasks such as database backups and user management
- Familiarity with incident management tools like ServiceNow or Jira
