Senior Applications Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Applications Analyst for the Epic Release team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and serve as a subject matter expert for specific content issues and solutions
• Perform project management activities, including analysis, design, implementation, education, and support of application software
• Consult and communicate extensively with clinical and administrative staff to improve patient safety and departmental workflow

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or five+ years of relevant healthcare/IT experience
• Minimum of three years' experience in implementing clinical information systems
• ITIL course and HIMSS certification to be completed within one year of hire
• Expertise in healthcare assessment, planning, and understanding of hospital operations and core process flows
• Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and proficient in using computer tools in a clinical setting
