Senior Applications Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Applications Analyst - Epic Orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and provide expertise on specific content issues and solutions related to application software
• Perform project management activities, including analysis, design, implementation, education, and support of assigned applications
• Consult and communicate extensively with clinical and administrative staff to enhance departmental workflow and patient safety

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Epic Orders certification and relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or five+ years of relevant healthcare/IT experience
• Minimum of three years' experience in implementing clinical information systems
• ITIL and HIMSS certifications to be completed within one year of hire
• Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and hospital operations
