Senior Applications Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Applications Analyst to join their Epic Release team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and provide oversight for high-impact updates in Epic environments
• Perform project management activities, including analysis, design, implementation, education, and support of application software
• Consult and communicate extensively with clinical staff and administrative users to improve departmental workflows and patient safety

Required Qualifications and Education

• Current Epic certifications and relevant healthcare/IT experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field, or five+ years of relevant experience
• Minimum of three years' experience in implementing clinical information systems
• ITIL and HIMSS certifications to be completed within one year of hire
• Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and hospital operations
