Senior Applications Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Applications Engineer - Control and Automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain automation project files for complex energy projects, managing control implementation for customer-specific applications
• Create and modify Sequence of Operations (SOO) procedures and author Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) procedures for system deployment
• Serve as a technical advisor for internal teams and ensure comprehensive documentation of control designs and project risks

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial automation and controls, preferably in power generation or utility-scale facilities
• Demonstrated experience in developing custom industrial automation logic and program deployment
• Strong experience with Software-Defined Automation platforms; experience with IEC 61499 standard is preferred
• Expert-level knowledge of logic programming on major platforms like Rockwell Studio 5000 or Siemens TIA Portal
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or comparable work experience
