Senior Applied AI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Applied AI Engineer to develop and implement AI systems that enhance educational and clinical workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement production-ready AI agents and sophisticated tool-calling systems
• Build and integrate AI services using Python and TypeScript, ensuring seamless functionality within existing products
• Ensure compliance with educational data privacy regulations and develop monitoring systems for responsible AI usage

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in AI/ML applications
• Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Production experience with LLM APIs and building AI agents or conversational systems
• Understanding of prompt engineering and experience with RAG systems and vector databases
• Must be authorized to work in the US
