Senior Applied AI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Applied AI Engineer to design and build reusable AI systems that accelerate innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end LLM-powered workflows and rapid prototypes for internal AI assistants
• Develop shared connectors to major LLM providers and create reusable agent templates
• Collaborate with data science teams to operationalize models and communicate architectural decisions

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field required; MS/PhD preferred
• 6+ years of professional software or machine learning engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, including experience with modular codebases and ETL jobs
• Hands-on experience developing LLM-powered applications and designing RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with agent frameworks and experience integrating ML model outputs into production systems
