Senior Applied AI Engineer

Job Summary

As a hands-on software engineer, the full-time Senior Applied AI Engineer will design, build, and operate AI-enabled features within production SaaS applications, integrating machine learning capabilities while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate AI-enabled features within production SaaS applications
• Integrate large language models and other ML capabilities into existing systems, focusing on reliability and cost
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate user needs into intelligent system behavior

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Hands-on experience building and shipping AI-enabled features in production
• Strong foundation in system design, APIs, and distributed systems
• Experience working with large language models and other machine learning models
• Familiarity with evaluation, monitoring, and observability of AI workflows
