Senior Applied AI Engineer

Job Summary

Leading complex AI initiatives, the full-time Senior Applied AI Engineer will design, build, and deploy machine learning and LLM systems to enhance clinician and patient interactions in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical execution of AI projects, collaborating with senior engineers on architectural direction
• Design and improve advanced machine learning systems for patient and provider-facing products
• Develop evaluation frameworks and ensure models are safe, accurate, and improving over time

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience with at least 1 year focused on machine learning systems, including generative AI
• Strong software engineering skills with proficiency in Python or a comparable language
• Practical understanding of modern LLM techniques and experience working with real-world data
• A bias toward action and ownership in driving ambiguous problems to results
