Senior Applied AI Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a technically sharp Senior Applied AI Engineer, this full-time remote position will design and implement production agent systems for a regulated insurance domain while defining AI-first engineering principles across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and ship production agentic systems, including multi-agent orchestration and MCP-based integrations
- Build reliability layers around agents, ensuring measurable and defensible agent behavior through evaluations and guardrails
- Co-author and implement AI-first engineering principles, driving adoption across teams in the US and Vilnius
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend or full-stack foundations
- Real production experience with LLM-powered systems, including agent orchestration and structured outputs
- Demonstrated ability to ensure reliability in agentic systems through evaluations and deterministic checkpoints
- Strong product judgment in scoping AI applications effectively
- Evidence of influencing team workflows and practices that have been adopted and maintained
