Senior Applied Research Scientist

Job Summary

To advance computational geometry and meshing for industrial simulation, the full-time Senior Applied Research Scientist will develop algorithms for geometry, mesh generation, and discretization while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build algorithms for computational geometry, mesh generation, and design interoperability
• Investigate AI-native geometry processing and design-to-simulation workflows
• Define benchmarks for mesh quality and simulation performance while collaborating with various teams

Required qualifications

• PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as computer science or applied mathematics
• 5+ years of experience in computational geometry and simulation-ready representations
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for algorithm development
• Understanding of boundary representations, mesh quality, and numerical robustness
• Experience with CAD and CAE algorithms or related computational engineering practices
