Senior Applied Research Scientist
Job Summary
As a full-time Senior Applied Research Scientist, the successful candidate will be responsible for significant components of the agent harness infrastructure, enabling AI agents to reason over real enterprise data, act across workflows, and operate securely at Fortune 500 scale, with the flexibility to work remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build the agent execution harness and orchestration layer for multi-step workflows
- Ensure reliability, fault tolerance, and performance of the execution engine for enterprise workflows
- Develop evaluation frameworks to measure agent quality and detect regressions in production
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in building production software systems with a focus on reliability and scalability
- Hands-on experience launching generative AI products and managing AI-powered features in production
- Strong understanding of large language models and prompt engineering practices
- Experience in evaluation engineering with a track record of driving quality decisions in AI systems
- Solid software engineering fundamentals, including distributed systems and API design
