Senior Applied Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Applied Scientist - Research Products.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end model development, guiding others in research, data engineering, and evaluation
• Operate in an agile manner, pushing for quick iterations based on customer needs
• Communicate research findings through peer-reviewed publications and develop patentable ideas

Required Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant discipline or Master's with comparable experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience building information retrieval/NLP systems for commercial applications
• Experience in writing production code and ensuring well-managed software delivery
• Demonstrable experience translating complex problems into successful AI applications
• Preferred publications at relevant venues such as ACL, EMNLP, or NeurIPS
