Senior Applied Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Applied Scientist to develop and deploy AI/ML models that enhance member experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI/ML models to improve member outcomes and business performance
• Build evaluation frameworks and own the end-to-end model lifecycle, including deployment and monitoring
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate strategic challenges into AI/ML solutions and influence the technical roadmap

Required Qualifications

• Experience shipping AI/ML models to production with measurable business outcomes
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and model development
• Hands-on experience with modern ML/data platforms such as Databricks and MLFlow
• Understanding of the full ML lifecycle from experimentation to deployment
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to operationalize solutions
