Senior Applied Scientist

Job Summary

Driving innovation in machine learning and AI, the full-time Senior Applied Scientist will design and implement sophisticated models to solve complex problems for creative applications, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams while working onsite in New York City.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning and AI models, particularly for image editing applications
• Build end-to-end ML pipelines and prototype novel AI-powered features
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring intelligent solutions into production

Required qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience; or MS with 5+ years of experience in applied AI or machine learning
• 3+ years of programming proficiency in Python for data science and AI
• Hands-on experience with statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms
• Experience working with large-scale data and distributed systems
• Familiarity with causal inference models and techniques
