A company is looking for a Senior Applied Scientist, NLP/GenAI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy AI solutions for document understanding tasks in the legal domain
• Develop data and evaluation strategies to optimize model performance and ensure quality
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to align document understanding capabilities with business needs

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, NLP, or a related field, or a Master's with equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in building and deploying document understanding systems
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks
• Publications at relevant academic venues
• Experience with knowledge extraction and knowledge graph construction
