Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Applied Scientist, NLP/GenAI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy AI solutions for document understanding tasks in the legal domain
• Develop data and evaluation strategies to optimize model performance and quality
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate document understanding challenges into scalable solutions

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, NLP, or a related field, or a Master's with equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in building and deploying document understanding systems using deep learning and NLP methods
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch
• Publications at relevant venues such as ACL, EMNLP, or NeurIPS
• Experience in knowledge extraction and knowledge graph construction
