Senior AR Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance revenue cycle management, the full-time Senior AR Specialist will assist patients with financial aspects of hospital services, mentor team members, and manage outstanding account balances in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and following up on claims from billing through final resolution
• Identify and correct billing errors, educating team members to prevent recurrence
• Review and resolve payment errors, low reimbursements, and denials requiring expertise

Required qualifications

• 5 years of experience in healthcare customer service or insurance collections
• Strong knowledge of computer billing systems, particularly X-claim
• Ability to train, mentor, and lead a team
• Experience in customer support and issue resolution management
• Proficiency with MS Office
