Senior Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Architect to lead the development of software tools for scientific discovery in chemistry and materials science.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to design developer tools, APIs, and workflows for chemistry and materials science
• Shape and prioritize features for software efforts in chemistry and materials science
• Represent the organization at scientific conferences and industry events

Required Qualifications

• PhD in computational chemistry, materials science, computer science, or a related field; or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in building AI or machine learning software for chemistry or materials applications
• Strong experience with GPU-accelerated computing and modern ML frameworks
• Deep knowledge of machine learning interatomic potentials, generative modeling, and quantum chemistry workflows
• Experience architecting scientific software or technical products
