Senior AS400 Developer
Job Summary
Designing, developing, and supporting business-critical applications in an AS400 environment, the full-time Senior SYNON/AS400 Developer will collaborate with business analysts and technical leads to deliver high-quality solutions while working remotely from Richardson, TX.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with business analysts and technical leads to clarify requirements and define technical solutions
- Develop, review, and enhance applications using AS400 technologies including RPGLE, RPGILE, CLLE, and SYNON
- Create and execute unit test plans, resolve defects, and support quality assurance and regression testing activities
Required qualifications
- Strong experience working in AS400/IBM i development environments
- Hands-on expertise with RPGLE and RPGILE programming
- Proficiency in CLLE development and system-level programming
- Experience developing and maintaining applications using SYNON
- Ability to participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support
