Senior Associate, FCM

Job Summary

Owning exception management and operational readiness for new product launches, the full-time Senior Associate, FCM will manage back-office operations for Coinbase Financial Markets, Inc., ensuring reliable derivatives infrastructure while meeting regulatory expectations in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own exception management across cash, positions, trades, and margin, including triage, investigation, resolution, and implementation of durable fixes
• Lead operational readiness for new product launches, covering UAT/test case design, playbooks, cutover plans, and post-launch stabilization
• Establish monitoring and exception reporting frameworks and run incident triage with clear escalation paths

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services or fintech operations with FCM, broker-dealer, or listed derivatives experience
• Demonstrated analytical problem-solving in exception-based operations with strong prioritization and escalation judgment
• Product launch and operational readiness experience, including requirements gathering and go-live support
• Effective cross-functional business partnering with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance teams
• Working knowledge of listed derivatives characteristics and interest in blockchain/cryptocurrency markets
