Job Summary
Leading financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, the remote Senior Associate M&A Diligence will evaluate small businesses, develop financial analyses, and support investment decision-making from initial diligence through transaction execution.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and execute financial due diligence reviews, analyzing financial statements and historical performance
- Develop financial models and present operational insights based on financial data and strategic fit
- Collaborate with legal, tax, and operational teams to gather information and ensure comprehensive due diligence
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting and buy-side transaction experience in an advisory or private equity setting
- CPA, CA, or CFA certification preferred
- Experience with mid-market accounting firms is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated capabilities in evaluating small to medium-sized businesses
- Strong interest in empowering employee ownership in small businesses
