Senior Associate Mortgage Loan Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Associate, Mortgage Loan Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the accounting close process, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for GAAP and STAT accounting
• Perform detailed analytical reviews of investment income, yields, and gains/losses
• Assist in the implementation and onboarding of new investment portfolios related to block acquisitions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the reinsurance industry or financial services
• Strong understanding of GAAP and STAT investment accounting principles
• Experience managing large volumes of data with strong general ledger background
• Knowledge of fair value hierarchy and alternative investment accounting preferred
