Senior Associate Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Associate Underwriter - Commercial Lines (P&C Middle Market Insurance).

Key Responsibilities:

• Services complex multi-state, multi-line accounts to promote profit, new business growth, and renewal retention
• Consults and collaborates with partners to resolve business issues and expedite service needs
• Rates, quotes, and issues policies while managing account activity and ensuring timely updates

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Completion of INS, AU, or similar designations with progress toward CIC and/or CPCU preferred
• Typically, four years of commercial underwriting or related business experience preferred
• Experience leading or working on complex projects and teams preferred
• General understanding of rating systems and underwriting strategy
