Senior Atlassian Engineer
Job Summary
To support a federal customer, the full-time Senior Atlassian Engineer will work remotely to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements across the Atlassian tool suite, serving as an administrator for Jira and Confluence while leading migration efforts to Atlassian Government Cloud.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements and design solutions to improve collaboration and streamline workflows using the Atlassian tool suite
- Administer and optimize Jira and Confluence environments, ensuring they meet evolving project and organizational needs
- Lead a team of migration developers/engineers in transitioning from Atlassian Datacenter to Atlassian Government Cloud
Required qualifications
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 7 years of relevant experience
- 7+ years of experience administering Jira and Confluence for software development and/or operations teams
- Experience with Atlassian Datacenter migration to SaaS (Atlassian Government Cloud) environment
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban as implemented within Jira
