Senior Atlassian Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a meticulous and creative Senior Atlassian Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and implementing enhancements across the Atlassian tool suite to improve collaboration and streamline workflows for a federal customer.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and optimize Jira and Confluence environments to meet evolving project and organizational needs
- Translate business requirements into technical configurations, document system processes, and deliver user training
- Lead migration efforts from Atlassian Datacenter to Atlassian Government Cloud (SaaS) while managing a team of migration developers/engineers
Required qualifications
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 7 years of relevant experience
- 7+ years of experience administering Jira and Confluence for software development and/or operations teams
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban as implemented within Jira
- Experience with Atlassian Datacenter migration to SaaS (Atlassian Government Cloud) environment
