Senior ATO Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior ATO Security Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs in managing cybersecurity compliance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support RMF Steps 0-6 activities for system Authorizations to Operate (ATO)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure implementation and documentation of security requirements
• Develop and maintain security documentation and authorization artifacts in line with VA policies

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing complex system records in the eMASS tool
• Experience with RMF steps, security categorizations, and FISMA security documents
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 security controls and compliance standards
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 13 years of relevant experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination
