Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. ACS Engineer to develop Attitude and Controls Systems (ACS) for cutting edge low Earth orbit solutions, complex geosynchronous communications satellites and beyond Earth science missions.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, analyze, and verify satellite attitude control systems (ACS)
  • Coordinate implementation of ACS related FDIR systems
  • Develop and flow down system and test requirements, support cross-functional teams, and qualify new ACS sensors and actuators

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
  • 8 years of relevant experience (or 4 years with a master's degree)
  • Experience in dynamics, feedback control systems, spacecraft attitude control methods, or orbital mechanics
  • Experience with ACS hardware in a development, test or operations environment
