Senior Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Auditor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute operational audits, draft audit reports, present audit results, and provide mentoring and oversight for assigned audit staff
• Provide consultation regarding risk and controls, data analysis, and development of subject matter expertise
• Participate in Symetra's annual assessment of internal control over financial reporting (ICFR) by performing control design assessments, tests of operating effectiveness, and coaching and mentoring less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years internal audit and/or public accounting experience
• CIA, CPA, CISA, CFE or the ability to obtain a relevant certification within 2 years
• 4-year college degree in accounting, finance, information systems or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Insurance/financial services industry experience preferred
• Proficiency with data analytics tools (PowerBI, SQL, Python, etc.) preferred
