Senior Auditor with CPC Certification

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Auditor with CPC Certification will audit medical records, ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards, and prepare detailed audit findings while maintaining high production and quality metrics.

Key responsibilities:

• Audit medical records to validate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with project guidelines
• Research regulatory guidelines for supporting documentation and prepare audit summary findings with recommendations
• Collaborate with the team to identify process improvement opportunities and support departmental key performance indicators

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of auditing experience, with extensive knowledge in behavioral health, OBGYN, and ophthalmology
• Strong understanding of AMA, OIG, CMS, and national coding and compliance guidelines
• CPC certification required; RHIT or CPMATM to be completed within a year of hire
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with strong computer skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a sense of urgency
