Senior Automation QA Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a remote team, the full-time Senior Automation QA Engineer will architect test automation frameworks, develop automated tests, and integrate scripts into CI/CD processes to enhance and automate business operations for a global retailer.

Key responsibilities

• Architect test automation frameworks and develop automated functional API/Service level tests
• Create and execute performance tests while maintaining and expanding automated testing infrastructure
• Collaborate with QA team members to automate manual test processes and manage testing risks

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in QA Automation of backend/API testing
• Solid skills in Java programming and experience with SoapUI, Gatling, and JMeter
• Experience in creating automation frameworks from scratch on Azure cloud
• Good knowledge of SQL and no-SQL databases
• Experience with continuous integration processes and tools, including CI/CD pipelines
