Senior Automation QA Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to work remotely on a full-time basis, responsible for spearheading automation initiatives, enhancing software quality for a government client, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize automated testing processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction on automation initiatives and mentor junior team members
• Design, create, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as FitNesse and Selenium
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure applications meet quality standards and address issues

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing, with proficiency in tools such as FitNesse, Selenium, and Cypress
• Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python and JavaScript
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LOCUST IO
• Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required
