Senior Automation Quality Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Automation Quality Engineer will develop and maintain automated test frameworks, lead the execution of automated test cases, and mentor junior engineers while supporting quality initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks
- Lead the execution of automated test cases and manage software defect resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish automation best practices and integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline
Required qualifications
- 4-7 years of overall testing experience, including 2-4 years in automation testing
- Strong proficiency in core Java programming concepts
- Experience with API automation using Karate and UI automation using Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG
- Experience using Jenkins for CI/CD and building pipelines
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
