Job Summary
Ensuring the operational integrity of automation systems, the full-time Senior Automation Technician will perform inspections, calibrations, and programming on PLC, SCADA, HMI, and RTUs while monitoring system performance and implementing corrective actions onsite in Ca /GO.
Key responsibilities
- Guarantee the functionality of automation, instrumentation, and control systems at the Hydroelectric Power Plant
- Monitor system operations, identify failures, investigate causes, and implement corrective actions
- Supervise maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental procedures
Required qualifications
- Technical education in Industrial Automation, Industrial Electronics, or Process Control
- Prior experience in a similar role, particularly in continuous process hydroelectric plants
- Knowledge of instrument calibration, SCADA, PLC, HMI, Modbus TCP, and IEC 61850 protocols
- Understanding of industrial networks, control software, and protection relays
- Availability to work onsite in Ca /GO
