Senior Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary

To drive automation strategy and improve engineering practices, the full-time hybrid Senior Automation Test Engineer will lead automation initiatives, mentor peers, and design scalable automation frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams, requiring onsite presence in Pittston, PA at least once every other month.

Key responsibilities

• Champion automation best practices and continuously improve frameworks and testing strategies across engineering teams
• Design and maintain enterprise-scale automation frameworks, establishing coding standards for maintainability and scalability
• Mentor engineers and perform code reviews to enhance the quality of automation solutions and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated automation engineering experience within large-scale software organizations
• Proven experience leading automation initiatives across multiple teams or departments
• Expert-level experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium WebDriver
• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or TypeScript
• Demonstrated ability to influence engineering decisions and mentor team members
