Job Summary
To support a government contract, the full-time Senior Automation Tester with Public Trust will work remotely, focusing on developing and executing test strategies and automation for complex systems while ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and execute functional testing and test automation across various software development stages
- Define and implement effective test strategies for distributed and cloud applications, including regression planning
- Utilize automated testing tools for unit, API, and user interface testing within CI/CD pipeline environments
Required qualifications
- Active Public Trust clearance and US Citizenship are required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5-10 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or software development with a focus on testing/automation
- Proven experience in owning test strategy and automation for complex, distributed, or cloud-based systems
- Strong technical fluency in languages for test automation such as Java, Python, SQL, or JavaScript
