Senior Automation Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Automation Specialist, Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitors underwriting process automation to ensure outputs align with company standards
• Identifies areas to improve automation throughput and create efficiencies in the underwriting process
• Analyzes large volumes of data to identify gaps in risk selection processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
• 5+ years working in life insurance underwriting (Required)
• 2+ years working with data analysis and process automation tools (Excel, SQL, Python, etc.) (Required)
• Experience working with an insurance underwriting rules engine (Preferred)
• Industry education/certification such as FLMI, ACS, CLU, or FALU (Preferred)
