Senior AV Design Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical expertise in a virtual environment, the full-time Senior AV Design Engineer will support the architecture, installation, and planning of integrated audio, video, and control solutions while ensuring high-quality documentation and project implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Design audiovisual systems that meet customer specifications and integrate various hardware and software components
• Complete documentation including CAD drawings, system descriptions, and equipment selections while adhering to Technical Services Standards
• Research and analyze hardware and software options to support project implementation and team collaboration

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of Design Engineering experience preferred
• Prior experience in the service and installation of audio, video, and presentation systems
• Knowledge of control systems (Crestron, QSC, Extron, AMX) and DSP platforms (Biamp, QSC, Clearone, BSS)
• Ability to interpret advanced single-line diagrams and architectural drawings
• CTS and CTS-D certifications are a plus, along with other industry-related certifications or training
