Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior AWS Cloud Platform Analyst will design and build platform services for FedRAMP High and IL5 environments, focusing on centralized APIs, CI components, and automated deployment workflows.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and enhance platform services, including APIs and CI components, for compliance with FedRAMP High and IL5 standards
• Automate federal promotion workflows to transition from manual operations to gated, auditable deployments
• Support the rollout of federal staging and production environments, ensuring operational readiness and security

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in SRE, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering
• Strong coding or scripting skills in Python, Go, Ruby, Bash, or similar languages
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD systems
• Proven ability to operate production systems with a focus on observability and incident response
• Experience in building secure systems with compliance and auditability considerations
