Senior AWS Cloud Security Architect

Job Summary

Owning the architecture and security of the AWS environment, the full-time Senior AWS Cloud Security Architect will design, implement, and manage security controls and infrastructure for a SaaS platform, ensuring a robust security posture while working in the EST or CST time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS Landing Zones and multi-account architecture
• Manage IAM roles, permissions, and access controls across AWS services to ensure least-privilege security
• Conduct security monitoring, logging, alerting, and vulnerability management through various AWS-native security services

Required qualifications

• Senior-level experience architecting and securing production AWS environments
• Hands-on experience with AWS Control Tower and AWS-native security services
• Deep knowledge of AWS networking, IAM, and access controls
• Experience with vulnerability management and threat detection tools
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices within CI/CD pipelines
