Senior AWS Data Architect

Job Summary

Working remotely as a full-time Senior AWS Data Architect, the candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, building, and deploying of software systems while providing technical and strategic guidance on cloud adoption for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult, plan, design, and implement data solutions on the cloud, including AWS Data Lake implementations and database migrations to AWS Managed Services
• Develop high-quality technical content such as automation tools and reference architecture to assist customers in their cloud journey
• Support internal and external brand development through thought leadership, including writing blog posts and developing case studies

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience architecting and operating data/DevOps solutions built on AWS and Azure
• Experience in software and technology customer-facing roles
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and Redshift
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and metadata ingestion pipeline development
• Experience with tools and libraries such as Airflow, Kafka, and Spark
