Senior AWS Data Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the design and optimization of scalable data pipelines, the contract Senior AWS Data Engineer will collaborate with product teams to deliver innovative data solutions while working remotely from Chicago, IL.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test robust data pipelines and ETL workflows using AWS native tools
• Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver creative solutions
• Build and maintain large-scale data warehouses and streaming solutions

Required qualifications

• Proven expertise in designing and building scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows
• Strong experience with AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, Kinesis, and Redshift
• Proficiency with pipeline/ETL tools like Informatica IICS or Alteryx
• Extensive experience with Snowflake and Kafka for data engineering use cases
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and business intelligence projects
