Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing remote team, the contract Senior AWS DevOps Engineer will design, automate, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for scalable and secure applications while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline
• Automate deployment processes for containerized workloads using Docker, ECS, EKS, and Kubernetes
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions with AWS CloudWatch and troubleshoot performance issues to maintain SLAs

Required qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder status with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or DevOps
• Hands-on expertise with AWS core services and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Strong scripting or development experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages
