Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of scalable and secure applications, the contract Senior AWS DevOps Engineer will design, automate, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline
• Automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring of applications using infrastructure-as-code and DevOps best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production deployments and mentor junior engineers

Required qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder status with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or DevOps
• Hands-on expertise with AWS core services and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Strong scripting or development experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages
